An Initial Tour

Let’s take a look at the property before any work takes place.

Starting at the front is the shop.
I have already had the shop rewired as there were problems with the existing wires. As I was paying, I went for my choice of an industrial look.

Which I think looks really good.

Behind the shop is the front door and hallway of the house.

A shame the staircase has to go. Under the carpet is what looks like an original Victorian floor, but I could be wrong. Going upstairs.

There is bedroom 1, which is the smaller room above the shop.

This room will become the Kitchen. Next to that is the larger bedroom 2 which will become the living room and dining area.

That sash window looks nice, but it nearly chopped my finger off, when the sash cord snapped and came down like a guillotine.

The other side of the staircase is bedroom 3, which will stay a bedroom.

And behind this room is bedroom 4.

Downstairs, behind the hallway is the living room, which will become shop.

This leads on to the dining room, which will become the shops office or store room.

Then finally into the Kitchen.

Looking out the kitchen window is the back garden and parking.

From the back garden a view of the back of the house. The side fence on the right had to be put in as my garden extended by half a meter into the neighbours garden and they wanted their land back. Fair enough.

and the last picture is the side entrance that leads back to the High Street.

Additional photo added of inside of shop, as requested.
